29.10.2005. A new release comes out on Extremal Psychonauts label – a split-CDR between EKRAN and Boevye Cikady “Even Yesterday it Seemed to be Impossible”.
“”Notions about possible and impossible change quickly in owr days…” once wrote in free press Lenin Prize laureate, Hero of Socialistic Labour, academician A. Tselikov. EKRAN and Boevye Cikady, both projects from St. Petersburg, entirely agree with comrade Tselikov’s opinion and because of this decided to release a split-album in support of this statement. Science and technology, folk medicine and atomic energetics, astronautics and terrestrial fauna – here are the main ideological inspirers of the musicians. Melancholic atmosphere of laboratories, detachment of research officers and statistical registration of events are waiting for the attentive listeners in the first half of the disc recorded by EKRAN using old Soviet synthesizers. In contrast to this, Boevye Cikady get inside the animal microworld, decompoze the matter on frequency components and cheerfully explore the holographic structure of the Universe by means of digital music made with the help of Apple Macintosh software.”

28.05.2006. ZHELEZOBETON and kultFRONT release a small 3-way split between Kryptogen Rundfunk, Ritualnaya Bioingeneria and Hladna, commemorating the first edition of “Thalamus” festival.
“This is a collaboration release between KultFront and ZHELEZOBETON labels put out to commemorate the first festival of post-industrial music organized in the city of Pskov and contains one track from each of three St. Petersburg’s projects performed at this festival. Kryptogen Rundfunk’s track sounds like soft noisy ambient cut through by snatches of radio-chatter and sharp rhythmic thorns. Ritualnaya Bioingeneria starts off with mechanic industrial loops accompanied by strange acoustic effects and sprightly declamed verse and then flows into dancing martial completion with opera and concertina samples. Hladna drills ears with calm/explodive irrational noise from time to time thread on minimal rhythmic basis.”
